Think Africa
Founded in 2018, Think Africa is a non-profit organization limited by guarantee. It has been formally registered and approved by Companies House UK with registration number 14633914 and the Corporate Affairs Commission in Sierra Leone with registration number SL060418THINK02852. Think Africa was established as the Think Africa Institute, which for five years offered a variety of consultancy services. It has seen leadership changes and restructuring. With the goal of establishing equitable possibilities through the equity method, Think Africa Limited has evolved into a not-for-profit organization limited by guarantee. It bills itself as a feminist consulting and program development organization. The following themes are the focus of TAL's Human Rights Based Approach lens: Women's Rights, Education, Livelihoods, and Women-Led Environmental Sustainability.
Our approach
We serve as a trusted partner for institutions in Europe and beyond seeking to collaborate in West Africa. We prioritize local knowledge and understanding of the region's unique challenges. Women and young people face severe living situations as a result of widespread violations of rights and injustices that have led to deep-rooted poverty. They have been excluded from being competent members of society, failing to recognise that they are the generation that will shape the future. Thus, Think Africa Limited was founded to collaborate with like-minded organizations and continue the struggle for fair opportunity. Think Africa Limited pledges to discriminate positively and will continue to work with marginalized populations of women and youth. We provide a unique combination of program development and consulting services. The purpose of Think Africa is to eliminate gender disparity and provide equal opportunity for its constituents to gain education, self-reliance, and resilience. Think Africa believes that everyone should have equal rights in society to manage their own affairs, including current and future goals that affect their life.
